"Cellar Dweller is a great company to work with. We have used them numerous times already over the past two years, and have nothing but positive things to say. They have the latest equipment to get the job done quickly and efficiently. We will be using them again for future filtration services."

Mike Lang, Lang Vineyards.

Crossflow Unit 1 - Pall Oenoflow 4B Semi-automatic system - 32 square meters of filter area - typical average flow rates of 3000 lph for whites, 1500 lph for reds.

Crossflow Unit 2 - Pall Oenoflow 4XLS Automatic system - 86 square meters of filter area - typical average flow rates of 7200 lph for whites, 3600 lph for reds.

Our crossflow systems have the following features:

  • Symmetric PVDF membranes are able to tolerate typical concentrations of bentonite

  • On Board Concentration Tank means no need for additional racking steps, saving time and reducing wine losses.

  • Patented Low Concentration Volume feature, further reduces wine loss to very low levels for increased productivity. Typical wine losses of 0.25%, compared to 1.5 - 2% for traditional filtering methods.

  • Unit 2 has the capability of filtering small batches through a single filter module instead of the typical 4 modules.

The Pall OenoflowTM Crossflow filter system means a single pass filtration step prior to bottling, eliminating the need for multipass filtration steps using Diatomaceous Earth and/or depth filter sheets, increasing wineries profitability by reducing labor costs and significantly increasing wine yield rates.

The Pall OenoflowTM is the crossflow filter system chosen by the 3 largest wineries in the Okanagan Valley.
